After another very impressive show last year the National Trust have given us hte freedom of this stunning castle again for this show. Gates open at 10am till 5pm each day. Their will be L.H.E., witness the king's court & how justice is served, a skirmish, training of the fryd and Kiddie Vike. The year is 876AD & the main battle will be between King Alfred & Guthrum at wareham.

As part of their Archaeology week & the opening of the Longhouse to the public.
Their will be a show and tell, as well as two skirmishes we will have a standard L.H.E.
and crafts display. Open to the public from 10am.

Show is 10am - 5pm each day. There will be a show and tell, skirmish, Kiddie Vike & main battle at 3pm. Come see how the Vikings/Saxons lived at our encampment & see the great army of Wessex defeat the Viking envaders.
